Distance Sales Agreement

Vectors Institute (the “Provider”) agrees to provide you online courses purchased on vectorsinstitute.com upon the following terms and conditions. By registering for the course, you (the “Participant” or “You”) agree to be bound by and to abide by the following terms and conditions.

Payments

Vector Institute accepts these forms of payment: Visa and Master Card credit cards issued by Canadian banks. When making purchases, your credit card is charged immediately. Your total price displayed in the check out screen will include the price of the product plus any applicable sales tax.

Effective Date

This Agreement shall start upon registration by the Participant on the course and shall be enforceable between the parties starting on that registration date.

Course and Online Course Platform

The Provider agrees to provide access to all of the course features as described in the specific sales page or to all of the course features default on the Effective Date. These features may include videos, worksheets, tests, ongoing live training sessions. The Provider may also offer discounts or bonuses to Participants under certain conditions.

Limited License

By purchasing a online course from the site, the Participant is granted a single-use, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, view and use the online course. The participant is given the right to watch, view and read the items that make up the online course she/he has purchased. All ownership rights in the intellectual property related to the course remain with the Provider and the Participant may not use or reproduce any of the content in any manner, without the express written consent of the Provider. Any violation of the copyright or trademark rights of the Provider shall result in immediate termination of access to the course without refund.

Copyright

The material in the course is covered by the provisions of the Copyright Act (Canada) and by other applicable laws, policies, regulations and international agreements that address intellectual property rights. Except as granted in the limited license, any use of the Platform, including modification, transmission, presentation, distribution, republication, or other exploitation of the Platform or of its content, whether in whole or in part, is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Provider.

Course Registration

The Participant agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information as prompted by any registration form and to maintain and promptly update the information to ensure it remains true, accurate, current and complete. The Participant is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and for all activities that occur under your account. In consideration of use of the Website, you agree to maintain and update true, accurate, current and complete Registration Data. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or if the Provider have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Provider may suspend or terminate Platform access without refund.

The Provider reserves the right in its sole discretion, to terminate access of the Participant to the course and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, if the Participant becomes disruptive to the course or other course participants, fails to follow the course guidelines. In the event of a termination of the course, the Participant shall not be entitled to a refund of any portion of the fees and shall not be excused from any remaining payments under a payment plan in the event of such termination.

Refund Policy

Vectors Institute will not be able to cancel, refund or replace the online courses due to the electronic nature of the content, though we can re-issue the same online course in case you receive it in damaged condition.

vectorsinstitute.com will provide a refund in the following circumstances:

Video and E-Documents (Self-Study) Courses:

Self study course is unavailable and tech support does not fix the issue within 14 business days.

Instructor-Led and Blended Courses:

If the course is cancelled before starting and no material has been given to the students, a full refund will be provided. If the course is cancelled before starting and material has been given to the students, a refund will be provided for the instruction only.

If a student wants to withdraw from the course, it must be done 10 days before the start of the course and the amount will depend on if the student received materials or not.

Online/Physical Workshops and Seminars

If an attendee cancels his or her registration more than 10 days before the date of the workshop/seminar, the amount paid for the cancelled registration will be refunded in full.
